Add the tempeh cubes and cook for about 5 minutes until they are lightly browned. Remove the tempeh from the skillet and set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the same skillet, add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Saut\u00e9 for about 2 minutes until the onions are translucent and fragrant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the Indonesian yellow curry paste to the skillet and cook for another minute, stirring well to coat the onions and garlic with the curry paste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour in the coconut milk and vegetable broth, and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the sliced carrots, bell pepper, and zucchini to the skillet. Cover the skillet and let the vegetables cook for about 10 minutes until they are tender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Return the cooked tempeh cubes to the skillet. Stir in the soy sauce or tamari and lime juice. Allow the flavors to meld together for a couple of minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the skillet from heat. Taste the curry and adjust the seasoning if needed, adding more soy sauce or lime juice according to your preference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve the Indonesian Yellow Curry Tempeh over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with fresh cilantro. Enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Suggested recipe for homemade yellow curry paste:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 lemongrass stalks, white part only (chopped)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 shallots, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, peeled and chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 teaspoons ground turmeric<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon ground coriander<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon ground cumin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon paprika<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon ground cardamom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon ground black pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon vegetable oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blend or process until the mixture forms a smooth paste. You may need to scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor a few times to ensure everything is well combined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water, a teaspoon at a time, to achieve the desired consistency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once blended, the yellow curry paste is ready to use.
