Soak the raw almonds overnight. Next morning wash and and place into blender. You may peel the almonds before blending. (I personally prefer them with the skin).<\/p>\n<p>2. Add 2 cups of water and blend until the almonds are well ground and blended with the water. It should be thick and porridge like. You may use a spatula to move the mix and blend until you achieve the right consistency. Add the rest of the water and blend again for 1-2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>3. Place the cheese or muslin cloth or a nut pouch on the metal strainer that is sitting over a bowl.\u00a0 Pour the mixture through the cloth. Press firmly with a spoon until only the almond meal remains. (You can dry out the almond meal in an oven or a pan and use in your muesli or to create a healthy snack).<\/p>\n<p><em>The almond milk is ready. Pour into a glass bottle or jar and store in the fridge.
