{"id":3389,"date":"2016-12-27T09:37:29","date_gmt":"2016-12-27T09:37:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ox7.ee3.mytemp.website\/dev\/?p=3389"},"modified":"2018-05-10T01:17:04","modified_gmt":"2018-05-10T01:17:04","slug":"five-lentil-mixed-dal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ox7.ee3.mytemp.website\/zh\/five-lentil-mixed-dal\/","title":{"rendered":"Five Lentil Mixed Dal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Mixed dal &#8211; 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Water &#8211; 4 cup<\/li>\n<li>Bay leaf &#8211; 1<\/li>\n<li>Clove &#8211; 1<\/li>\n<li>Cumin seeds &#8211; 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Mustard seeds &#8211; 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Grated garlic &#8211; 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Grated ginger &#8211; 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Asafoetida &#8211; 1 pinch<\/li>\n<li>Turmeric &#8211; 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<li>Salt &#8211; \u00a0to taste<\/li>\n<li>Oil (sunflower, olive or peanut) &#8211; 1 teaspoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash the dal well and soak for 1 hour.<\/li>\n<li>Drain water, and add to a medium sized pan with 4 cups of water and set to boil.<\/li>\n<li>Add salt, turmeric, bay leaf and clove. Boil well until fully cooked (this dal cooks fast so make sure you don\u2019t overcook it). Set the pan aside.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a small flat pan. Add oil. Add the cumin and mustard seeds. Cover the pan with a large flat spoon or lid to stop the crackling mustard seeds from spilling.<\/li>\n<li>Add the ginger and garlic. Add the asafoetida.<\/li>\n<li>Stir fry the mixture until well cooked. Add this mixture to the dal and mix well. Add more salt if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Serve in small soup bowls with a side of rice or bread.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients Mixed dal &#8211; 1 cup Water &#8211;
