Of course milk was used &#8212; and nuts &#8212; but it was not heavy, with minimal sugar. The sweetness of carrot and milk was enough to satisfy my sweet cravings!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Halva &#8211; Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Carrots grated \u2013 500g<\/li>\n<li>Creamy Cashew Milk -2 cups (see recipe below)<\/li>\n<li>Cashews \u2013 10 -12 pcs<\/li>\n<li>Pistachios \u2013 2 tablespoons crushed<\/li>\n<li>Coconut Sugar, maple syrup, jaggery \u2013 optional<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Creamy Cashew Milk &#8211; Directions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Soak all the cashews for 3-4 hours. Take out 10-12 pieces and keep aside.<\/li>\n<li>Place the rest in a blender and add: 100ml filtered water, blend, add rest of water and blend very well again.<\/li>\n<li>Keep aside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Halva &#8211; Directions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a wok, heat on medium heat, place the carrots and let water evaporate.<\/li>\n<li>Add the 1-2 cups cashew milk to the carrots and stir until water is evaporated.<\/li>\n<li>Take the soaked cashew pieces and grind in a rough mixture.
